I Love My Children, I Love My Children
Must repeat: I love my children. I say that so I will not sound like Britney when I tell you...THEY ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY. I must go back to work soon. This is my official hats off to you wonderful, WONDERFUL mothers who choose to stay home. The very fact you maintain sanity is a testament to your strength. Except for a quick trip to Coos Bay to pick up take-out, I have been with the children constantly since the start of my break (nearly two weeks). Incidently, that trip was suggested by my husband to purposefully separate me from the children for an hour. Let me just stress again -- I love my children. However, I cannot wait to be around my giant, independent, reading, potty-trained seven year-old first graders again. Stay tuned for next week's blog: I Love My Class, I Love My Class, where I will wish to be staying at home with my children...

There's no escaping those kids. Yours or others. They always want something, huh? Happy new year March family!
I would offer some sort of moral support, but since I was hysterically crying one of the last times we spoke on the phone, I don't think you would believe anything I have to say.
Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em...
good luck with the "I love my class" thing- I must believe that your own kids are better than school kids, particularly with the week I'm having! -a
