Pro-cras-tin-a-tion (To the Tune of "Anticipation")
I used to think education majors who obtained their masters' degrees immediately following their BS's were just a little bit geeky. You know, they'd be overqualified - have trouble finding employment. We had been told horror stories in the School of Education about people who got their masters' in year five who had to settle for aide positions because no one wanted to pay them the higher salary -- go BU. I'll go back when I have more teaching experience. It will be more applicable. SCHAH, RIGHT. I have more experience alright. More experience in marriage. Like, I have one now (and did I mention that he is taking classes too?). More experience in child-rearing. Like, I have two of them. Why did I think it would be easier to wait? Mmmm... I think I was procrastinating. Like I procrastinate now while I write this blog instead of working on a project for class. Like I procrastinated cleaning the dungeon known as Chase's Room by reading STAR Magazine. Did you know that Nicole Kidman is pregnant? I hope SHE isn't trying to further HER education. I could write on much longer, but I must procrastinate somewhere else. Surely, there is something I could do instead of cooking dinner?
